Now, you all know or could have guessed that I like all things creative and arty so when it comes to birthday’s I like to make them myself and each year I seem to get more ambitious and try to outdo the former.
The next one will probably be in June so here’s last years effort and the advancement of the Rambo model seeing as this blog wasn’t born yet when I made it!
The models are made using Gum Paste and they’re a bit like play dough. It’s not edible but it’s much easier to mould than Sugar Paste which you can eat thought I believe it isn’t very tasty. You can also keep them, providing you store them correctly, for years. My Rambo model is still in the fridge – I’m not sure where best to keep him but he seems to like it in there.
I’m not sure how to top this one though.. any ideas or bakers out there, please send me some top tips!
